Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental assistant training program.
• Current license to practice dental radiography in Ohio.
• Board Certified in Coronal Polishing in Ohio.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to monitor nitrous oxide and post‑analgesia status.
• Two years of chairside assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room and patient for dental procedures.
• Exposes and develops radiographs; prepares study models.
• Assists dentist during procedures and passes instruments.
• Documents care in patient records and educates patients/parents.
• Maintains CPR certification and manages emergency supplies.
