Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment following procedures.
• Welcome, seat, drape, and comfort patients for treatment.
• Sterilize instruments and pass them to the dentist; manage suction.
• Prepare materials and place them in the mouth as directed.
• Expose and develop radiographs; pour, trim, and polish study casts.
• Document dental care services in patient records.
• Assist in emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and supplies.
