Job summary

DOCS Health in Baltimore City is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our School Based Dental Program. You will support pediatric dental care, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and assist in four-handed dentistry within a school setting.

Ideal candidates are certified, with x-ray certification, and comfortable working with children. Flexible, locally traveling to school sites, and reliable transportation preferred. We offer benefits including medical, vision, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with X-ray certification.
• Two years of chair-side experience preferred.
• Ability to work with portable/mobile equipment.
• Familiarity with computers and dental software.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable/own transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
• Able to work well with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment room.
• Prepare patient, instruments, and materials.
• Sterilization of all equipment.
• Take/process x-Rays using digital Radiography equipment.
• Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
• Any other duties, as assigned.
