Job summary

DOCS Health, a leader in school-based care, is seeking part-time Dental Assistants for our School Based Dental Program in the Baltimore City School District. You will support preventive and comprehensive dental services for children aged 5 to 18 in a safe, familiar environment.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, preparing patients and instruments, sterilizing equipment, taking digital x-rays, and assisting in four-handed dentistry.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with x-ray certification.
• Two years chair-side experience preferred.
• Ability to travel locally and work with portable equipment.
• Familiarity with computers and dental software.
• Good with children; friendly and caring demeanor.
• Prior pediatric dentistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment room.
• Prepare patient, instruments, and materials.
• Sterilization of all equipment.
• Take/process x-Rays using digital radiography equipment.
• Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
• Any other duties, as assigned.
