Job summary

DOCS Health seeks a Dental Assistant to join its School Based Dental Program in Baltimore City School District. You will support preventative and comprehensive care for children ages 5–18, including radiography, sterilization, and four-handed dentistry.

Ideal candidates have an active X-ray certification and at least two years of chair-side experience, with comfort using portable/mobile equipment in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with X-ray certification.
• Two years of chair-side experience preferred.
• Ability to work with portable/mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment room.
• Prepare patient, instruments, and materials.
• Sterilize all equipment.
• Take/process x-Rays using digital radiography equipment.
• Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
• Any other duties as assigned.

We are seeking Dental Assistants who are passionate about working with children to be a part of our School Based Dental Program in the BALTIMORE City School District. Our program provides preventative and comprehensive dental care to children ages 5 to 18, in a safe and familiar environment. Services include oral health education, routine exams and cleanings, dental fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
