Virginia Family Dentistry seeks a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support the Ironbridge team in Richmond, VA. The role involves chairside assistance, x-ray procedures, infection control, and collaboration with doctors and front desk staff.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements include x-ray certification and BLS; pediatric experience is preferred.

• Input treatment plan given by the doctor.
• Keep the schedule on time and communicate with the front desk.
• Maintain a lab tracking system to ensure all lab work is ready for the patients’ appointment.
• Ordering and unpacking supplies.
• Collaborate with the doctor scheduler on schedules and maintaining the unscheduled list by following up with the patients and needed treatment.
• Help the administrative staff as needed.

Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our Ironbridge team!

Pay range is $18-$25/hour based on experience. Typical work hours are 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday.

The assistant must have knowledge of dental procedures, x-ray certification, OSHA regulations and State Board requirements. Must be willing to work in and be part of the larger team and communicate effectively with doctors, employees, and patients.

• Take x-rays

• 1 year or more of pediatric dental experience or completion of a dental assisting program
