Job summary

Kids Dental Brands in Maumee, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our upbeat team. No previous experience required, but you must hold a Dental Assistant certification.

You will work chair-side with dentists, take radiographs, prepare and sterilize instruments, take impressions, and teach patients proper oral hygiene. We offer a modern, kid-friendly facility, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification is required.
• CDA or RDA certification preferred or required.
• X-ray certification is a plus.
• Sealant polishing & Nitrous certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists and perform patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take impressions of the teeth (models) and assist with procedures.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-care.
• Obtain patient medical history and monitor vital signs when appropriate.
