Job summary

Kids Dental Brands is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for our Maumee, OH office. The role supports dentists chair-side, processes x-rays, prepares and sterilizes instruments, and assists with patient care in a friendly, kid-focused practice.

Certification in Dental Assistant is required; CDA or RDA is preferred. X-ray and nitrous/silant certifications are a plus, with no prior experience necessary. Join a team that values growth, community health, and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification is required.
• X-ray certification and Sealant polishing & Nitrous Certification are a plus.
• No experience required, but must have Dental Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties.
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Ask about patient medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures.
