NC Pediatric Dentistry in Lenoir, NC is hiring an experienced Dental Assistant (DAI/DAII) full-time to support dentists in a variety of clinical duties. You will assist during procedures, prepare treatment plans, and help educate patients and parents on oral hygiene.

A strong emphasis on teamwork and accuracy is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited dental assistant program, and Coronal Polishing certification; nitrous certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Successful completion of a dental assistant program as per state guidelines.
• Coronal Polishing Certification.
• Additional certification such as nitrous desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Review treatment needs and answer questions prior to procedures.
• Takes and develops dental radiographs and monitors nitrous oxide.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment per OSHA standards.
