NC Pediatric Dentistry in Lenoir, NC is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will support dentists, take radiographs, perform coronal polishing and deliver compassionate care to children in a safe, friendly environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a dental assistant program, dental x-ray certification, coronal polishing certification, and nitrous certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a dental assistant program per state guidelines.
• Dental x-ray certification required.
• Coronal Polishing Certification required.
• Nitrous certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Sterilize and deliver instruments; maintain a clean, safe clinic.
• Educate parents and patients on oral hygiene.
