Job summary

NC Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced DAI or DAII to join our Shelby, NC team. You will assist with quality dental care under a dentist's supervision, working within a collaborative team and performing diverse clinical duties.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, taking radiographs, reviewing treatment plans, maintaining infection control, and educating patients and families on oral health. A valid dental assisting certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and people skills.
• Proven ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with dental software and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Review treatment needs and obtain informed consent.
• Take and develop dental radiographs; monitor nitrous oxide.
• Stock, sterilize, and deliver instruments; assist other staff as needed.
• Maintain OSHA-compliant, clean, safe clinical environment.
