Job summary

Pearland Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE). You will prep patients, assist with radiographs, and help maintain sterile operatory environments in a fast-paced dental practice in Pearland, TX.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and relevant certification/licensure; travel to multiple offices is possible for specialty areas. Training provided to support PPE and patient care.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients, staff, vendors, or other members of the business community.
• Ability to draw valid conclusions, apply sound judgment, and make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to interact with Clinicians and Owner Doctors effectively.
• Ability to read, interpret policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians to provide efficient, quality dental care.
• Escort patients to front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Keep operatory clean, sterile, and cheery; sterilize instruments.
