Job summary

Rock Kids Dental LLC in Crofton, MD is hiring a part-time Dental Assistant to care for children and families. No experience required beyond a positive attitude; training will be provided on pediatric routines, instruments, and office systems.

Must hold a Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist certificate to take radiographs; DANB exam in progress within a month is acceptable. Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome as part of our diverse team.

Qualifications

MD radiography certificate required to take x-rays.
DANB exam in progress within a month of employment.
Comfortable with children or willing to learn pediatric patient care.
Friendly, calm communication with kids and parents.
Reliable, in-person availability in Crofton, MD 21114.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients and treatment rooms for pediatric visits.
Assist the dentist chairside during procedures.
Take dental radiographs with a valid Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist certificate.
Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols.
Give post-treatment and oral hygiene instructions to patients and parents.
Update patient records.
Help with phones, scheduling, and light front-office support as needed.
Support basic lab tasks and office marketing goals when asked.
Keep clinic clean and organized.
