Job summary

Tailwind Pediatric Dentistry seeks a Licensed Dental Assistant to support pediatric patients at our Wayzata and Richfield locations. The role involves chairside assistance, radiographs, fluoride applications, and instrument sterilization, with a Minnesota license and team-focused mindset.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, in a fun, fast-paced environment offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Minnesota Dental Assistant License.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Enjoys a fast-paced pediatric dental environment.

Responsibilities

• Present the patient to the doctor.
• Clean the patient’s teeth and perform fluoride applications.
• Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital.
• Review schedules to ensure appropriate appointments.
• Set up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
• Consult with parents to discuss treatment plans.
• Sterilize instruments and manage lab work.
• Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
• Maintain infection control and OSHA guidelines.
