Doylestown Pediatric Dental LLC in Doylestown, PA is seeking a passionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will support the dentist chairside during child-focused procedures and help create a comfortable, positive dental experience for young patients.

The role requires radiography and CPR/BLS certifications, a dental assistant credential, and excellent communication with children and parents.

Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred, especially pediatric.
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Radiography certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Dental assistant certification preferred.
• Excellent communication with children and parents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a clinical setting.
• Warm, patient, nurturing demeanor with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories between patient appointments
• Take and develop dental X-rays (bitewings, periapicals, panoramic) following safety protocols
• Build rapport with young patients and parents to reduce dental anxiety and ensure a positive experience
• Document patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories accurately in dental software
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Manage supply inventory and assist with front office coordination as needed
