Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania EFDA certification is required.
• Dental assisting experience, preferably pediatric.
• Radiology certification in Pennsylvania.
• Knowledge of infection control and dental terminology.
• Warm, energetic demeanor with a passion for children.

Responsibilities

• Place and finish restorations under dentist supervision.
• Assist pediatric dentists chairside during exams and treatments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, rooms between patients.
• Build rapport with pediatric patients and parents.
• Document patient records and medical histories accurately.
• Support front and back office workflows.
