Job summary

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Diploma from an accredited program preferred.
• Minimum two years related experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and preparing them for exams; explain procedures to pediatric patients.
• Assist dentist during examinations by preparing instruments and materials.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety; provide clear instructions.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments per infection control protocols.
• Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing/insurance tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and inventory.
• Support front office duties and radiograph-related tasks.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide chairside assistance in four-handed dentistry; expose radiographs.
