Nationwide-Children is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced pediatric environment. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, and educate patients and parents on care. The role requires radiography licensure in Ohio and prior chairside experience.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited dental assistant program and strong communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a demanding clinical setting and monitor nitrous oxide when applicable.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited dental assistant training program or the equivalent in applicable experience.
• Licensed to practice dental radiography in the State of Ohio within two weeks of hire.
• Two years of chairside assistant experience required.
• Robust communication skills required.
• Ability to monitor nitrous oxide and post-analgesia patient.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare treatment rooms and welcome, seat, and drape pediatric patients.
• Sterilize instruments and deliver to the treatment area; assist dentist; suction and pass instruments.
• Provide materials and chart services in patient records.
• Assist in dental radiography and radiographic procedures as licensed.
• Educate patients and parents on procedures and post-care.
