The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, patient education, and collaboration within a fast-paced clinical environment. Certification and radiology training are preferred but not required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; dental assisting certification preferred.
• Experience in a dental office is a plus.
• Radiology certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player.

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
• Document patient records and treatment notes accurately in dental software
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
