Qualifications

  • Experience as a dental assistant preferred or willing to be fully trained.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform prophylaxis as well as taking digital radiographs.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and reliable.
  • High school diploma; graduating from dental assisting program is preferred.
  • Committed to continuing growth in a long term career.

Responsibilities

  • Greet young patients with a warm smile and help them feel comfortable.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
  • Take dental x-rays.
  • Explain treatment plans to parents and help kids understand the importance of dental hygiene.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

What would you do as a Dental Assistant

As a new Full-Time Dental Assistant at Happy Kids Dentistry, your daily routine will be both rewarding and engaging. Expect to greet our young patients with a warm smile, helping them feel comfortable and excited about their dental visits. You'll assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun. A typical day includes preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and taking dental x-rays.

You'll also be responsible for explaining treatment plans to parents and helping kids understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing you to enjoy evenings and weekends with family and friends. Are you the Dental Assistant we're looking for
