Job summary

Happy Kids Dentistry in the Federal Way–Auburn area is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join a cheerful, kid-focused team. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with onsite duties and opportunities to grow your career in pediatric dentistry.

You'll assist the dentist, prep treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take digital radiographs, and explain treatment plans to parents while keeping the vibe fun and supportive for children.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a dental assistant preferred or willingness to be trained.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform prophylaxis and take digital radiographs.
  • Good computer skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet young patients with a warm smile and help them feel comfortable.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments and manage supplies.

What would you do as a Dental Assistant

As a new Full-Time Dental Assistant at Happy Kids Dentistry, your daily routine will be both rewarding and engaging. Expect to greet our young patients with a warm smile, helping them feel comfortable and excited about their dental visits. You'll assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun. A typical day includes preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and taking dental x-rays.

You'll also be responsible for explaining treatment plans to parents and helping kids understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing you to enjoy evenings and weekends with family and friends. Are you the Dental Assistant we're looking for?

While prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred, we're excited to train the right individual who is eager to learn. Key skills for success include knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, as well as a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
