Job summary

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners in Celebration, FL is seeking a full-time dental assistant to support dentists during procedures, take and develop radiographs, and help patients feel comfortable from check-in to post-treatment. You will document treatment notes in EagleSoft and assist with prophylaxis, fluoride, and sealants.

Sterilization and chair-side duties are included. Requirements include loving to work with children, 1 year of dental assisting experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• 1 year of Dental Assisting experience.
• X-Ray Certification (preferred).
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Take patients' medical and dental history.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing and flossing).
• Chart/enter a treatment and notes into EagleSoft.

Job Details:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

• Dental cleanings/prophylaxis, fluoride application, and sealants
• Sterilization and cleaning chairs
• And other tasks to keep our office clean and tidy

Requirements

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
• 1 year of Dental Assisting experience
• X-Ray Certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time: Monday - Thursday

Hours: 7:45am - 5 pm

$18 - $22 an hour
