Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist during operations and prepare the surgical suite with instruments and advanced equipment. You will join a highly skilled team that values expertise and teamwork, with access to on‑call support and ongoing education.

You will ensure sterile technique, scrub in for surgeries, assist with instrument handling, patient transport, and setup.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current CST certification or equivalent training.
• Current BCLS provider (AHA/Red Cross).
• 2+ years of cardiovascular experience in the role.
• Pediatric or adult CVOR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high‑performing, collaborative team environment
