Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT examinations, including pediatric imaging, while maintaining image quality and safety standards. Candidates should have graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology, ARRT CT registration within 1 year, SC licensure, and a valid BLS certificate, with 0–2 years of modality

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC CPR/AED) is required.
• 0–2 years of modality-specific experience; at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations using all imaging resources.
• Provide CT imaging services on pediatric patients.
• Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation.
• Maintain image quality and follow CT protocols.
• Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring safety during examinations.
• Operate CT equipment safely in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment.
