Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Casual CT Technologist to join our Radiology team in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves performing CT imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with radiologists to optimize imaging quality.

The position requires a Delaware radiology license within 90 days, ARRT radiographer certification within 1 year, and CT board certification within 18 months, plus BLS within 90 days. A flexible on-call schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Specialized training beyond high school is required.
• 6 months to 1 year radiology experience is required.
• Delaware Radiology Technologist License within 90 days of employment.
• ARRT Radiographer certification within 1 year.
• ARRT CT Board Certification within 18 months.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging studies with quality patient care.
• Prepare room and explain imaging procedures to patient/family.
• Administer and document contrast media under radiologist supervision.
• Screen patients for contraindications and assess safety.
• Assist radiologists by evaluating patients and obtaining consent for contrast.
• Maintain equipment, enter data, and ensure patient safety.
