Qualifikationen

• Must be graduate of Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs.
• Current certification or eligibility by the NBCRNA (National Board on Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists).
• Minimum education requirement after March 1, 2019 is a master’s degree with concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.

Aufgaben

• Prepare prescribed solutions and administer anesthesia.
• Inform attending physician of patient condition during anesthesia.
• Perform pre- and post-anesthesia visits and document notes; maintain patient records.
• Provide anesthesia care to a wide range of patients and work with anesthesia equipment.
• Participate in teaching activities and continuing education; uphold standards of practice.
