Job summary

MUSC Children's Health in Charleston, SC is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for pediatric outpatient surgeries. You will prepare medications, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.

The role requires an APRN/CRNA license, BLS, and a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, with no nights or weekends. Offsite ambulatory center experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be an APRN with current CRNA certification.
• Minimum requirement: master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescribed anesthetic solutions and administer anesthesia.
• Inform physician of patient status during anesthesia.
• Perform pre- and post-anesthesia visits and document notes.
• Provide anesthesia care to pediatric and adult patients under supervision.
• Operate anesthesia equipment and assist in patient transport.
• Maintain patient records and participate in continuing education.
