Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the anesthesiology care team. This role supports an attending Anesthesiologist with pediatric, neonatal, and adolescent patients, performing pre-operative assessment and delivering general, regional, or local anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care under supervision.

Candidates must hold PA RN licensure, CRNA certification, BLS/PALS/ACLS, and be able to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania (upon hire).
• CRNA certification required or NBCRNA recertification (upon hire).
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Patient management under the direct supervision of an attending Anesthesiologist.
• Pre-anesthetic evaluation and determination of suitability and patient status for anesthesia.
• Conduct of general, regional, or local anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care.
• Airway management and ventilation support during perioperative care.
• Post-anesthetic care including recovery monitoring and discharge readiness.
• Support of cardiac anesthesia privileges as applicable.
