Job summary

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

You will work as part of a collaborative anesthesia team, performing pre‑op assessments and perioperative management. The role offers opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development through the Center of Advanced Practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• ACLS, PALS certifications required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers safe anesthesia for pediatric patients; selects techniques and monitors intraoperative care; maintains complete anesthesia records and patient stability.
• Performs pre‑operative and post‑operative evaluations; develops and documents anesthesia care plan; collaborates with surgeons and physicians.
• Plans and directs in‑service educational programs; participates in research and clinical trials; supports SRNAs, CRNAs and anesthesia staff.
