Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks a Transport Registered Nurse for night shifts (1845-0715), three 12-hour weeks. The CCTT team delivers 24/7 pediatric transport care, stabilizing and transporting neonates to adolescents with critical conditions.

Expect advanced critical care procedures, specialized equipment, and inter-facility coordination. Required: ASN with BSN within 3 years, 2+ years ICU/critical care, pediatric transport preferred, DE nursing license to start, BLS, PALS/ACLS with 90-day

Qualifications

• ASN required (must obtain BSN within 3 years)
• 2-3 yrs ICU experience required; NICU preferred
• At least two years of recent critical care nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred
• DE nursing license to start (MD/PA/NJ to be obtained within 90 days)
• BLS required for hire
• PALS, ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days
• ENPC, TNCC, Stable and NRP within one year
• PHRN and DE EMT certification within two years
• National accredited nursing certification preferred
• Previous transport experience preferred
• PA background check required
• Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport and manage critically ill or injured pediatric patients during inter-facility transports
• Operate and monitor specialized transport equipment and ventilators
• Provide direct medical command under pediatric intensivist supervision
• Perform vascular access, airway management and emergency procedures as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across PICU, NICU and ED
