Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Transport Registered Nurse for night shifts (1845-0715), three 12-hour shifts per week at our pediatric transport program. The CCTT operates 24/7 to stabilize and transport critically ill children, using advanced equipment and specialized procedures.

Requirements include ASN with BSN within 3 years, 2–3 years ICU/critical care experience (pediatrics preferred), and DE licensure to start.

Qualifications

• ASN required (must obtain BSN within 3 years).
• 2-3 yrs ICU experience required; NICU preferred.
• At least two years of recent critical care nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• Nursing Licenses: DE required to start; MD/PA/NJ to be obtained within 90 days.
• AHA BLS required for hire.
• PALS, ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC, TNCC, Stable and NRP within one year of hire.
• PHRN and DE EMT certification within two years of hire.
• National accreditation nursing certification preferred.
• Previous Transport experience preferred.
• PA background check required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care transport for pediatric patients.
• Operate and monitor transport equipment and life-support devices.
• Collaborate with inter-facility teams and physicians.
• Maintain required certifications and training for transport duties.
