Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN with Associate or Diploma degree must enroll in BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years of hire.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state; BLS and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process.
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and uphold standards of care and professional conduct.
• Participate in shared governance and ongoing professional development to promote clinical excellence.
