Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II for 36 hours per week on the 8 ACU unit, with night shifts. The unit serves children up to 18 (sometimes 25) across pediatrics, inpatient rehab, and ENT services.

Under supervision, you will apply nursing process-based care, maintain SC RN licensure with BLS, and have at least one year of RN experience. BSN is preferred; if not held, enrollment within two years is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN with Associate/Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and complete within four years of hire.
• Minimum of one year of RN work experience required.
• Current RN licensure in SC or compact state and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Work on the 8 ACU pediatric unit with responsibilities across general pediatrics, rehab, and ENT services.
