Job summary

UPMC, in partnership with Saint Joseph Children’s Hospital in Tampa, seeks a full-time Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join the PICU team caring for infants through adolescence.

The selected candidate will contribute to clinical care, education, and research, with the expectation of academic appointment and collaboration with CHP Pittsburgh; board eligibility/certification required; competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine by a US board.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to education, research, and DEI in health sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 16-bed PICU for infants to adolescents.
• Collaborate with the PICU team and APPs.
• Contribute to education and research in pediatric critical care.
• Support CHP Pittsburgh collaboration and academic mission.
