Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide bedside clinical pharmacy services within Pediatric Critical Care. The role supports hospitalized pediatric patients and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in a highly specialized environment, with opportunities across NICU and PCICU.

This PRN position offers variable weekday shifts and weekend coverage on a rotating basis, with holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
• Board certification and post-graduate training (PGY1, fellowship) or 2 years of relevant post-graduate experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and dispense medications accurately according to regulations.
• Document services completely, accurately and timely.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with accreditation standards.
• Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate positive experiences.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and patients.
