Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Pediatric Institute is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric Acute Care certified) for a full-time nights position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The APRN will care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include taking histories, performing exams, developing treatment plans, collaborating with physicians and the health care team, and participating in rounds and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Pediatric Acute Care certification is required.
• APRN or PA licensure in applicable state and national certification.
• Two years clinical advanced practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough medical histories and complete physical examinations to establish diagnoses and care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and medical team to ensure quality patient care.
• Performs specialized procedures as allowed by credentialing and training.
• Participates in rounds and discharge planning while ensuring regulatory compliance.
