Job summary

CHOC Specialists in Orange County seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support the Critical Care Division in the PICU. You will apply pediatric ICU expertise within a family-centered care environment and work under standardized procedures with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold California NP licensure and certification, with at least two years of bedside pediatric ICU nursing experience and one year of pediatric NP practice.

Qualifications

• California-licensed and certified NP.
• Two years of bedside nursing in direct pediatric intensive care.
• At least one year of pediatric NP clinical experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat PICU patients under developed procedures.
• Develop and implement plans of care for all PICU patients.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary PICU team and educate patients and families.
