Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physician to join a busy Pediatric Intensive Care team in an inpatient setting with a Level III NICU/PICU. This employed position offers 24/7 coverage, 24-hour shifts (8 hours in-house), and access to a strong referral network within a large health system.

Qualified candidates will hold MD/DO credentials and Illinois licensure eligibility; Advanced Life Support is preferred. The facility is part of Ascension’s nationwide Catholic health system and provides comprehensive

Qualifications

• MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Join an established Pediatric Intensivist Team.
• 24 hour shifts, 8 hours of it in-house.
• 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service.
• Inpatient practice setting with Level III NICU/PICU.
