Job summary

Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our critical care float team, delivering family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents in pediatric intensive care units. You will collaborate with the health team to apply the nursing process and support diverse patient needs.

This is an MNA contract position with opportunities to expand skills in neuroscience, emergency care and post-anesthesia support, while upholding our Comfort Promise and Kids

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year experience (within the last 2 years) working with specialized patient population; pediatric experience preferred.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process.
• Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.
