Job summary

A pediatric therapy practice in Washington, D.C. seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver engaging therapy for children. You will implement treatment plans under OT supervision, document patient progress, and support children with developmental delays. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree and NBCOT certification, and possess a passion for child development. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience supporting children with developmental delays and sensory processing differences preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Negative TB test and successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Deliver engaging, play-based therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Support treatment goals that help children succeed at home, school, and in the community.
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate updates to supervising OTs and caregivers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive, holistic care.
