Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to collaborate with an OT and deliver patient-centered care. You will document therapy services, educate patients and families, and supervise support personnel. The role supports pediatric and lymphedema-related needs under supervision of an OT.

The position is part-time, day shift, with competitive pay between $22 and $35.93 per hour and several shift differentials, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required during orientation and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs responsibilities as an integral team member of an OT/OTA collaboration focused on patient centered decision making.
• Documents delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Educates patients, family, caregivers, and staff members.
• Directs and supervises activities of support personnel.
• Performs occupational therapy programs under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
