Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to collaborate with the OT team, document services, educate patients and families, and supervise support staff. The role conducts OT programs under supervision and applies standard techniques tailored to patient age and needs.

The candidate should graduate from an AOTA-approved OTA program, be eligible for licensure in Oklahoma, and hold or obtain BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education program; successful completion of the certification process for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience with pediatrics or lymphedema preferred.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure, or temporary licensure, as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

Compensation/ Benefits
  • $22.00-$35.93/hr depending on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $2.00/hr.
  • Night differential $2.50/hr.
  • Weekend differential $2.50/hr.
