SunnyDays Therapy Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support pediatric clients across multiple locations.

You will work under OT supervision to improve motor, sensory, and daily living skills. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules with competitive hourly pay ($23-$25) based on licensure, plus health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off, and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited OT Assistant program.
• Current MN licensure as a COTA or in the process of applying for state license.
• Experience in pediatrics or strong interest in working with children.
• Knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and play-based therapeutic approaches.
• Basic knowledge of therapy practices: fine motor, sensory processing, gross motor.
• Ability to follow OT treatment plans and implement activities.
• Strong communication skills with families and multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach.
• Organizational skills to manage a caseload and document sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support OT by following treatment plans to help children achieve goals in motor, sensory, and ADLs; work 1:1 under OT supervision.
• Provide 1:1 therapy services using client-specific methods and document progress.
• Assist in creating individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Partner with parents or caregivers regarding plan of care and home activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time per insurance requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and child-friendly therapy space.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines, scope of practice, and licensure requirements.
