Job summary

Pediastaff is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a pediatric-focused role near Wasilla, Alaska, starting in October on a 6‑month contract. You will manage an all-pediatric caseload in a modern facility with emphasis on gross motor and coordination delays, with some patients in foster care.

The clinic supports multiple locations and integrated services across SLP/PT/OT. The position requires Alaska COTA licensure (or eligibility), strong communication with caregivers, and

Qualifications

• Alaska license to practice COTA or eligible.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with caregivers, guardians and parents to achieve best outcomes for patients.
• Willingness to travel between clinics and to work in a telehealth format if required.
• Ability to evaluate patient, plan, develop and execute effective treatment plans; goal oriented.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred (fieldwork counts).

Responsibilities

• Work with an all pediatric caseload in a large, up-to-date facility.
• Caseload focuses on development delays in gross motor and motor coordination.
• Many patients in foster homes and a team approach with SLP/PT/OT services available.
• Telehealth could be used if required; travel between clinics as needed.
• Schedule involves four 10-hour days per week.
