Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an RN II for the Gastroenterology Team to provide and coordinate nursing care for pediatric patients with a focus on family-centered, evidence-based practice.

The RN II will apply the nursing process, support program operations, train staff, schedule activities, and ensure thorough documentation while collaborating with leadership to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Requires BSN or enrollment in BSN program with completion within 12 months of hire.
• Florida RN license (or compact license including FL) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required; CPN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for pediatric patients in Gastroenterology.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver and evaluate care considering growth, development, and family dynamics.
• Develop, manage, and operate the assigned program, including training and scheduling.
• Lead meetings, training, and documentation for program activities.
