Job summary

ChildServe is seeking an RN or LPN for its inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program, providing around-the-clock, family-centered care for children from infancy to age 14 with complex needs. The role supports a structured nursing process, accurate records, and collaborative communication with families, school staff, and physicians.

You’ll contribute through patient and family training, teamwork, and careful stewardship of supplies and environment within a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
• Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and mobility within clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the nursing process.
• Maintain accurate, timely records per nursing standards and policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and others to ensure care needs are met.
• Provide training to patients, families and staff to advance care delivery.
• Demonstrate stewardship of equipment, supplies and environment.
