Job summary

ChildServe, located in Johnston, Iowa, is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to join our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program. The candidate will provide care for infants to age 14 with complex medical needs in a family-centered environment.

This full-time role requires three shifts per week, including every 3rd weekend, with benefits such as medical, dental, and retirement plans, plus generous PTO. Join us in helping each child thrive in a safe and caring setting.

Qualifications

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
• Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of nursing care based on physician’s orders and care plans.
• Maintain accurate, completed, and timely nursing records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and ChildServe staff.
• Provide training to patients, families, and staff to advance care delivery skills.
• Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment and supplies.
