Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments using subjective and objective data.
• Administer care per established protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
• Develop individualized care plans, including education and referrals.
• Refer patients to appropriate medical and human service agencies using knowledge of community resources.
• Provide health education and counseling to support patient wellness.
• Report communicable diseases in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform venipuncture and administer parenteral medications and nebulizer treatments as ordered.
• Accurately document all patient interactions and treatments.
• Uphold legal and ethical standards in nursing practice.
• Apply knowledge of the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and scope of practice.
• Adapt to evolving trends in nursing and demonstrate clinical competence.
• Coordinate care with volunteer staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and clinic safety protocols.
