Job summary

Tender Care is hiring a dedicated CNA for pediatric care in Lake Park, FL. You will provide hands-on care, monitor vital signs, and support joyful daily activity for medically complex children while upholding safety and confidentiality.

The role requires an active Florida CNA license (or plan to obtain within 90 days), at least 1 year of non-family childcare experience, CPR certification, and a commitment to a 6:00 AM–7:00 PM Monday–Saturday schedule with no nights or Sundays.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of childcare experience (non-family).
• CPR certification prior to start.
• Willingness to complete Level 2 Background Screening prior to start.
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach with children who have developmental or behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care: bathing, feeding, repositioning, diapering, toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes to the nurse.
• Comfort and soothe children through rocking, holding, and reassurance.
• Help ensure safe patient transitions during transportation times (no driving required).
• Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.
• Schedule: Monday–Saturday between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM; no nights, no Sundays.
