Blythedale Children's Hospital in Mount Pleasant, NY, is hiring a Certified Nurse's Aide to support the nursing team in a 94-bed pediatric inpatient facility. The role emphasizes meticulous care, vital signs reporting, and patient assistance across activities of daily living.

NYS CNA certification and HS diploma are required; weekend and holiday shifts are expected, with an evening and night shift differential of $3,000 per year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• New York State CNA certification is required.
• Weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining unit and patients’ rooms compliant with regulatory agency codes and standards, obtaining, recording, and reporting vital signs to RN.
• Changing patients to and from various adaptive equipment as recommended/directed by the therapists or RN, Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assisting with or performing treatment procedures that have been predetermined for each patient, feeding or assisting with feeding of patients during meals/snacks,
• Assisting patients with diapering/toileting/showers as necessary, repositioning assigned patients to promote skin integrity, muscle tone, and maintain body alignment, maintaining excellent hand hygiene, adhering to precautions as required for each patient
• Maintaining professional boundaries and assisting the nurse during emergency situations.
